​David Bart has over 25 years experince in the
Wedding DJ and Wedding MC business.
​
He was a been Wedding DJ for approx 25 years in & around Sydney,
and then switched to WeddingDJ/MC about 10 years ago at
varied venues across greater Sydney.

David has extensive experience in all types of weddings, and is happy to send you
a Bio so that you may see/review where his experience lies, so that you may ascertain if his skill-set to DJ/MC is the right 'fit' for your
Wonderful Wedding Day.

PLEASE NOTE : this is not a weekend part-time venture for me, this is my Full Time Job, so you can be confident of professional care and service at all times.

Will it be David as our DJ/MC
David Bart as DJ/MC : How Does It Work .. ? David is a Wedding DJ/MC sole-operator, so once you have confirmed your wedding booking, it is locked in with David. He will be your DJ/MC, no exceptions, and no nasty surprises for you on wedding day.

For your first meeting, so I can give you a quote, we can chat on the phone, or, we can meet at an agreed location. Whatever is easiest for you.
​
All equipment is provided on wedding day, including a cordless mic. Arrival is approx 2 hours prior to start of reception so that plenty of time is available to setup all sound gear, and then do a sound-check.

Frequently Asked Questions
<> How do we organise all the music for David to DJ, as well as all the info when he acts as MC ?
We organise to meet at a suitable location a have a chat over a coffee/tea. We then complete all the paperwork with event details/names/times/songs etc.

<> Can we meet with David ( Before-We-Book ) to see of he is the right 'fit' for our Wedding Day ?
Yes. A meeting is fine. We select a location that is halfway from where you live, and where I live. If you would like to book after that meeting, we check the diary for your date, and you pay a deposit to secure the day.

<> What sound equipment is used on the day of our Wedding ?
Dave arrives 2 hours prior to guest entry to ensure plenty of time to setup all gear. You get ... 2 speakers, 1 x Sub, 1 x Cordless Mic, 1 x Disco Lights, Facade on DJ Table ( for a more elegant look ), a Laptop, and all music.

<> Can we see where he has worked previously, so we can gauge his experience for our wedding. Can we see a Bio ?
Yes, pls email me and I will reply with a Bio ( in pdf form ) outlining my wedding experience from the last 20 years.

<> What if we want one of family/friends to also do a 'part' of the MCing on the night. ?
Yes, thats ok. Pls let me know who it is, and what it is you wish them to do, and I will 'guide' them thru it, to ensure that all runs smoothly during the reception.
<> What type of sound equipment is used at the wedding ?
Only professional gear is used. We bring : professional mixer, all music, 2 x Speakers ( RCF 700 watts each ) That’s enough sound for 250 people. Tripods, Dance Lights ( i.e. disco lights ... no lasers are used ), plus a Cordless Mic is available for your Speeches.

<> How can we be sure that ALL our song choices/genres will be played. ? You supply me with a Full Listing of your Song Choices/Genres when you complete the Info Forms. Those requests are follwed 100% as an bsolute. They will NOT be changed for any reason. If changes are to authorised, it MUST only come from the Bride or the Groom.
<> Can we, or our guests, make song requests at the reception ?
Yes, all requests for Dinner or Dancing are taken. As long as those requests fall within the guidelines you have set, the songs will be played. If the request falls outside your guidelines, the customer will be asked to please select another song/artist, or something similar.
<> How do we make a booking for DJ/MC
All bookings are a $250 deposit to secure the date, plus balance remaining is paid (14 days) prior.

<> What if we want music at our Wedding Ceremony, can David do that . ?
Yes, we have a solution for that. A battery-powered speaker is provided, as well as a corded mic. The celebrant and your persons speaking may all use the mic. Your formal songs are played ( by : david bart ) as well as easy-listening music 20mins prior to bride arrival, and 20mins after the 'exit' of the bride & groom ( whilst you take photos etc ).

Complimentary meeting with You to discuss/chat re your BIG DAY to see if you wish to make a booking
Once booked, complimentary meeting approx one month prior to Wedding Day to discuss all items
David will be your DJ/MC ( includes : all dj equipment, cordless mic, disco lights for dancing )
Music can be anything from 1920's era .. thru to your fave Top40 trax on todays song charts
Together we will compose a Personalised Run Sheet to enhance your wedding day
DJ arrival time at venue is 2 hours before start time to setup all dj equipment
Laptop is used so you or your guests can request that last-minute fave track.
You may use the Cordless Mic for FREE for all your Formal Speeches
Disco Lights for your 'Dance Floor Time' are provided at no charge
The 'DJ Speakers' provided can handle crowds up to 250 people
( for groups over 250ppl extra spkrs at an agreed fee )

<> what if we want some additional hours ( on wedding day ) from the DJ/MC : $100 p/hr
<> We love to travel, but 50kms away from 'Central Sydney' ( i.e. Liverpool ), may incur travel fees

If your Wedding Reception is at Crowne Plaza, the fee due for DJ/MC for your
Five Hour Wedding Reception will be a different rate
